This individual brings proven experience managing engineering teams, overseeing complex capital projects, and navigating public-sector contract and procurement processes, including bid development, contract administration, and adherence to government regulations and standards. They excel at reviewing plans, coordinating with contractors and partner agencies, resolving technical challenges with sound judgment, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, codes, and policies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires preparing reports, presenting recommendations to City leadership, and fostering effective relationships with staff, developers, community groups, and elected officials.
