The Port of Oakland seeks a Director of Social Responsibility to lead the Port’s efforts in community relations, social responsibility, and community-focused initiatives. This executive role oversees programs in workforce development and community partnerships, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations that advance the Port’s mission of promoting equitable economic growth. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader who builds high-performing teams, establishes clear priorities, and aligns efforts with the Port’s mission and community values. They will bring expertise in workforce development, compliance oversight, and community engagement—designing effective programs, updating policies, and fostering partnerships across Oakland’s diverse communities.
