Maricarmen Peoples has 15 years of experience in customer service, program development, human resources, budgeting, and social media marketing in the private and public sectors. Following her education at the University of California, Davis, Maricarmen dedicated 12 years of her career to the State of California beginning with the California Health and Human Services Agency and then working for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. After a move to Dallas, Texas, where she lived for a few years, she served as the social media marketing manager for small businesses. Through all her experience, her favorite part is building relationships with people. Maricarmen currently serves as a Project Consultant for CPS HR Consulting working with recruitment services and executive search.

Brent Jamison
California Construction Authority has selected Brent Jamison to assume the role of Executive Director. Mr. Jamison comes to the Authority previously serving as the Interagency Support Division, Deputy Director for California Department of General Services. Mr. Jamison has over 20 years of public sector leadership, including serving in senior policy roles within the State and Consumer Services Agency and the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, where he helped shape major statewide initiatives on sustainability, emergency management, and government efficiency. He will begin in his role on November 3, 2025.
