The County of Solano, CA is seeking an IT Analyst Principal (Law and Justice)!

As an Information Technology Analyst, Principal (Law & Justice), the primary role is to provide dedicated IT services and support to the Sheriff’s Office. Responsibilities include both advanced technical expertise and significant supervisory duties over the Sheriff’s Office IT team. As the Principal Analyst, the successful candidate will establish trusted partnerships with Sheriff Office management and oversee the department’s IT portfolio and roadmap, ensuring quality service delivery and overall IT performance satisfaction. In addition, this position leads a team and manages projects related to major Law and Justice systems, executing the most challenging tasks within the Information Technology Analyst series. Duties also involve offering advanced technical support to system users and addressing the unique technology requirements and challenges faced by the Sheriff’s Office.

This position may receive strategic or project direction from the Law & Justice IT Division Manager and/or Chief Technology Officer. This leadership structure ensures that the successful candidate will have the necessary support and guidance to effectively fulfill the role while contributing to the overall technology objectives of the organization.
