COVID 19 – Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Certification Exams

The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention examination for June 13, 2020 at Patton State Hospital has been cancelled. The examination will be rescheduled to a later date. Please monitor our website for more information.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and recommendations pertaining to COVID-19. This is new territory for all of us and it continues to evolve requiring agility and flexibility as we navigate this situation. While we want to minimize disruption to candidates and licensing and certification programs, we must be diligent in following public health and safety guidelines and recommendations. The following three Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Certification Exams are given quarterly, alternating between Northern and Southern California:
The time allotted for taking each exam is 3 hours. Allow time for registration and instructions.
As of October 2014, there are no longer testing fees for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Certification Exams.
As of January 2017, online registration is required for all applicants. Mail-in applications will no longer be accepted.

All scheduled candidates will receive a confirmation letter from CPS HR approximately one to two weeks prior to the test date confirming the specific exam details including the time and location of the exam. Once available, you may view your scheduling and results notifications online. To view your notifications online, select the “My Account” link located in the toolbar on the bottom of the page. Once logged in, select “View Notifications” to see a copy of all available notifications.
