Effective July 1, 2020, a fee of $70 is required to be paid prior to taking each State certification exam.
Exam fees must be received by the payment deadline and are to be made payable by check or money order payable to CDPH – CLPPB.

Once payment is received you will receive an email from CDPH confirming receipt of payment. You will receive a scheduling notice for the examination approximately one to two weeks before your scheduled test; this notice will be mailed to the address indicated on your online account.
Candidates will not be admitted to the test site after the doors close. Exceptions WILL NOT be made for parking and transportation issues. Allow up to five hours in your schedule for registration, instructions, and the examination administration. Late arrivals will not be permitted to test.
Special Accommodation Testing is available for applicants who have an ADA disability or are unable to take the regularly scheduled examination due to religious affiliations.
CPS HR requires a request in writing with your preferred location and exam date as well as your contact information. You must include documentation signed by your clergy or

The request for accommodations must be provided during the registration period.
