STEP THREE: DATA ANALYSIS
The third Workforce Planning step is to analyze the data.
A Gap Analysis:
- Identifies the differences between the workforce an agency has currently and the workforce it will need in the future, based on it's operational goals.
- Will reveal gaps in competencies and staffing levels to carry out future functional requirements of the organization.
- Builds the foundation for the Gap-Closing Strategies step of the Workforce Planning process.
