For over 14 years, Michael worked in technical, analytical, specialist, executive, and managerial positions for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Prior to moving out of California in 2021, Michael spent his last 7 years at CDCR within Human Resources where he served as a Staff Services Manager I, II, and III responsible for oversight of a variety of Human Resources functions including but not limited to; Civil Service Hiring Process, Specialized/Strategic Recruitment for hard-to-fill classifications (co-created a specialized recruitment unit), New Employee Onboarding (developed, standardized, and implemented for CDCR), Employee Retention, Employee Discipline, Civil Service Examination Process, ECOS Support, Seniority Score Calculation, Classification Specification Revision, Layoffs, and DEI Hiring Practices. He also has expertise in California State government functions such as program re-organization, training, budget, business services, and contracts. Since leaving state service and prior to joining CPS HR Consulting, Michael was able to gain invaluable private sector recruitment experience in both Hospitality and with a Fortune 500 Tech Company which has contributed to his overall knowledge of specialized recruitment strategies.

Sridevi (Sri) Ramaswamy

Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology has selected Sridevi (Sri) Ramaswamy to assume the role of Chief Operations Officer. Ms. Ramaswamy comes to the Governor's Office previously serving as the Head of Community Operations for Uber. Ms. Ramaswamy brings more than 20 years of experience in software development, project management, business development, operations leadership, and entrepreneurship. She will begin in her role on April 22.

Sandra Calhoun

The State of Colorado - Department of Revenue has selected Sandra Calhoun to assume the role of Director of Human Resources. Ms. Calhoun comes to the State previously serving as the Corporate Sr. Human Resources Manager for Recology Inc. Ms. Calhoun has experience in employee relations, labor relations, training, project management and developing company cultures and brings over 10 years of management experience. She will begin in her role on April 8.

Chief Information Security Officer
State of Colorado

Jill Fraser

Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology has selected Jill Fraser to assume the role of Chief Information Security Officer. Ms. Fraser comes to the Governor's Office previously serving as the Interim Chief Information Security Officer. Ms. Fraser helped the develop a unified security program within a decentralized IT structure, shifted the culture around security, and helped create Colorado’s Whole of State program in 2018. She will begin in her role immediately.

Executive Director
California Building Standards Commission

Stoyan Bumbalov

California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) has selected Stoyan Bumbalov to assume the role of Executive Director. Mr. Bumbalov comes to the County previously serving as the Managing Director for California Building Standards Commission. Mr. Bumbalov has direct experience in the California building standards development process, including CALGreen and the California Energy Code and brings over 13 years of management experience. He will begin in his role on May 1.

San Joaquin River Conservancy, CA

Kari Daniska

The San Joaquin River Conservancy has selected Kari Daniska to assume the role of Executive Officer. Ms. Daniska comes to the Conservancy previously serving as the Senior Enviromental Scientist for California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Ms. Daniska has extensive scientific and management experience. She will begin in her role on April 8.
